1.空格

誤：Our campus is quite big and has a lot of beautiful spots to see.If you visit,I will be very glad to show you around.

正：Our campus is quite big and has a lot of beautiful spots to see. If you visit, I will be very glad to show you around.

解析：逗號與句號後面須空一格。

2.句號的使用

誤：My university is a public university located in a country side of natural beauty, with the reputation of a “National Park University,” it has a big campus and a lot of interesting spots to see, for example, there is a huge lake on campus, the lake not only provides staff and students with a delightful setting but also offers tourists a place for recreation.

正：My university is a public university located in a countryside of natural beauty. With the reputation of a “National Park University,” it has a big campus and a lot of interesting spots to see. For example, there is a huge lake on campus. The lake not only provides staff and students with a delightful setting but also offers tourists a place for recreation.

解析：完整句與完整句之間須以句點隔開、而非逗號，且句子開頭的第一個字母須大寫。

3.動詞時態的一致性

誤：When he was the owner of this company two years ago, he is very ambitious to establish a branch of the company abroad.

正：When he was the owner of this company two years ago, he was very ambitious to establish a branch of the company abroad.

解析：因為敘述發生在過去，is (be動詞)須改成過去式was。

4.主詞與動詞的一致性

誤：John introduce his company and its products.

正：John introduces his company and its products.

解析：單數主詞用單數動詞；複數主詞用複數動詞。John為第三人稱單數主詞，故動詞要用單數動詞introduces。

5.使用適當的連接詞

誤：I like this restaurant but its food is delicious and cheap.

正：I like this restaurant because its food is delicious and cheap.

解析：根據句意，前後兩個句子用連接詞because連接較適合。
