Freshman Orientation
Office of International Affairs host orientation for the international students every semester. We encourage our new students to attend, and meet new friends there!

Accommodation
Not mandatory, but if you need to book a space for the semester, we can arrange for you. Each room spaced up to 4 students.
Dormitory fee: $6630/semester
Dormitory wireless: $499/semester
Bedding（mattress、pillow 、 quilt）: approx. $2000/set
※Summer vacation and winter vacation are excluded, and the price will be announced at the end of each semester.
Medical assistance
Medical & Accident Insurance Fee: Approximately NT$500/month
- In accordance with Taiwanese law, all international students are required to purchases medical & accident insurance.
- According to the regulations of Nation Health Insurance (NHI), foreigners residing in Taiwan and holding an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)for more than 6 monthsare required to join NHI program. The premium is NT$826 per month. (May be varied every year)
Other assistance
We have a Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Culture Club for international students in NPUST. We encourage our students to speak Mandarin in the club, moreover, this club host several off-campus activities and take our students to experience the real Taiwanese culture.
