Required Documents for Registration
(in English or in Chinese)
A completed Application Form.
A copy of your passport or, if available, your Alien Resident Certificate.
Transcript (authenticated by Taiwan Embassy/ Taipei Economic and Cultural Office or university)
A notarized photocopy of the most recent graduate certificate /diploma.
Study plan: a resume briefly tells us about your intention on learning Chinese in Taiwan. (At least 300 words)
Financial Statement: showing a balance of at least US$2,500 within the past 3 months. (Financial Supporter’s (Parent’s) Financial) / (For MOE Huayu scholarship students, please attach the application form)
One recommendation letter (free format).
Health certificate. (within 3 months)
Other certificates (optional) ex. English certificate/ Mandarin certificate.
Application Procedure
Download and complete the Application Form.
Send the application form together with the required documents listed above to the CLC by post or e-mail to clc@mail.npust.edu.tw or npust.clc@gmail.com
After the application documents have been examined, an acceptance letter will be issued.
Fees
Tuition Fee
- NT$37,800/per semester
- Special offer: If you can present a certificate or score report of any level of official TOCFL overseas exams within one year, you can obtain a 20% discount on tuition fees for the first semester.
Accident Insurance Fee
- NT$1,535/per semester (not including summer and winter vacation)
- By Taiwanese law, all international students are required to purchases medical & accident insurance.
- We can assist in the purchase of accident insurance during registration.
According to Nation Health Insurance (NHI) regulations, foreigners residing in Taiwan and holding an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) for more than 6 months are required to join the NHI program. The premium is NT$826 per month.
Dormitory Accommodation Fee
- Dormitory fee: NT$6,630
- Dormitory network fee: NT$499
- Prepaid air conditioning card: NT$500 (deposit: NT$100; available quota: NT$400 )
- Per person per semester charges
- Not including summer and winter vacation
